Art and culture for the better Future
The Future is in our hands and creative minds.
Learning about human history
makes us know what and how things have been changing and evolving during our thousands of years of existence and it would most likely question
“In what direction is our Future heading?”. The answer to that question isn’t
as uncertain as people might think, because the current climate of art and
culture and how we engage with it in fact tells us where our society is headed.
Human
culture is an overwhelming presence over us and so its effect on one's self
image is more obvious to the average person. Meanwhile Art as a form of
entertainment makes it widely accessible to almost everyone, making it another
form of influence on us, however it isn't really taken as one by a big
majority, due to the fact that entertainment as a whole being seen only as a
distraction from our real world. "How could scraps of paper, paint on
canvases, moving pictures and/or pixels on a screen have any sort of real
meaningful impact on or society!" - some would say, but that is a bleak and
unchallenged point of view to have.
Art is made from one’s experiences
which are shaped by the culture they’re apart of, in return people get inspired
by the art that they engage with in one way or another – inspired to create in
the realm of art as well, and so the cycle continues. It is up to us to engage critically
with the art and culture around us for the proper influence and inspiration to
create meaningful art and in turn a better future for humanity.

The accesibility of digitalized art - and I'm not even talking about AI - is actually a huge issue, isn't it? Someone is always at the losing end, whether it's the creator or the viewer, at least one person is either ripped off or simply manipulated by the publishing companies. Let's just hope that in the future someone will propose some sort of balanced digital access framework for digitalized pop culture works
ReplyDeleteThere is no future without culture and art. We have to maintain our culture to fight of the globalization and stop unification
