Art and culture literally create our world
Art has been around us for an extended period and will keep co-existing with us while culture is what had survived through time and is kept as a respected memory. As long as there is the creative mind of a human and the type of a soul that is seeking to express, there will always be art. Thus, it was around our ancestors but what does that have to do anything with the way it and culture are shaping our world?
For starters, just look around yourself right now. Almost every object you see has been constructed in someone's head, first. Had been only a mere idea. I am not saying that everything you see is a piece of art, but everything you see can be an inspiration of art, which only proves how thriving the nature of art is. Now, let's get to the bottom of this. Some people would say that everything around us is our world, and that my earlier statement that not all objects are art leads to the thought that art is not what shapes the world. Despite their common “birthplace” being a mind of a person, there are major differences. An object is created to be practical and useful. It is a mere tool to get comfortable. Art is created just because. It can be the reflection of one's most repressed emotions and thoughts. Desires, hopes, dreams, fears, nightmares and many more, because it is like a bare piece of one's emotional core. And emotion is one of the most important things a person needs to be a human.
The art that lasts is the one that influences people effortlessly. It is both – a sacred feeling of the author that they can no longer hold back and a relatable one for too many.
Every creator is influenced. By the country they lived in, by the school they went to, by the family they had, by the generation they were born in, by the culture they were raised with. By too much and too many things. And when they finally “say” what they have, it can be an act of rebellion. A demand for a change to which people can connect on an emotional level which makes it so powerful.
Feelings charge us up like fuel. Good art provokes thoughts and even leads to taking actions. And actions? The ones committed massively are what changes our world and shapes it while culture influences it.
Culture plays a major role in the way our world is being created because it contains art itself but also deals with another heavy emotional aspect – relationships between people. The way we treat each other can either help us thrive together or make us more closed off and refusing to show up and that could even lead to losing hope that we can make a difference.
However, it also creates a cycle despite that repressing form of its. How exactly? It pressures everyone, including the ones with a soul seeking expression so very badly that they turn towards art.
And so, our world keeps reshaping as every generation has its own problems, its own art that touches the hearts of the young and it has its culture to remind what it was like before and why we have certain values while quietly influencing us into something that ends up being our reality.

While there was a lot of interesting ideas here, I really like the simplification on what does what. Feelings being fuel or as I understood motivation, art as a thought provoking object and the idea that culture influences the actions is so on point. Genuinely a really interesting read.
